However, it was one dress in particular that caught Prince William's attention.
Did Kate Middleton participate in a fashion show?
The short answer is, yes, Kate Middleton made her modelling debut in a charity fashion show in 2003.
The moment went down in history as Kate walked the runway in a sheer mesh black dress which is worlds away to what a royal would usually be seen in.
Kate modelled the dress which consisted of a strapless design which she wore black underwear underneath.
It's been said that this moment was when Prince William started to see Kate in a romantic light as he watched her in the fashion show.

Meg then talked about how she got the job for The Crown as she said: "In April last year the opportunity in The Crown popped up on my Twitter, and at the same time my neighbour sent it to me and told me that I should go for it.
"She’d just seen it and she thought I looked like Kate."
The Crown is Meg's debut professional role, with her only other acting credit being for a short film called The Prince of Savile Row, released in 2021.
