They greeted well-wishers outside the church before heading back to Sandringham for a Christmas feast.

Prince William beamed with pride despite Prince Louis appearing to break royal protocol by holding his cousin Mia's hand.

Snaps showed Prince Andrew hanging awkwardly to one side while the other royals smiled and waved to fans.

Andrew is allegedly "totally tormented" as his name is "set to appear" in an unsealed document related to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, it has been claimed.

It comes as a firm set up to manage the prince's investments has secured £210,000 worth of funding from a mystery donor.

His ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York appeared in public at Sandringham for the first time in years, walking beside her ex-husband and smiling broadly.

Posting on Twitter, Fergie said: "We are enjoying each other’s company and feeling grateful today.

"I hope everyone has a wonderful day. Happy Christmas to anyone who celebrates and season’s greetings to all."

Andrew's daughters were with their husbands, Princess Beatrice with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Prince Eugenie with Jack Brooksbank.

The family are now returning from church to a traditional Christmas dinner.

The royals' Christmas Day celebrations at Sandringham begin with breakfast.

Former chef to the Queen Darren McGrady revealed that some members of the family have a full English - but that "married women" have something lighter brought up to their rooms.

Christmas lunch includes "salad with shrimp or lobster" followed by turkeys and Christmas pudding.

Earlier today there was a private and intimate service for the royals at the church, before the main service at 11am.
