Sarah Ferguson seen on royal Christmas service walk for first time in 30 years as Prince Andrew faces new shame
SARAH Ferguson was today seen on the royal family’s annual Christmas service walk for the first time in 30 years.
Prince Andrew’s ex-wife walked beside the shamed duke after they left St Mary Magdalene’s Church on the Sandringham Estate.
The royal family this morning greeted well-wishers outside the church before heading back to Sandringham for a Christmas feast.
Snaps showed Prince Andrew hanging awkwardly to one side while the other royals smiled and waved to fans.
Andrew is allegedly “totally tormented” as his name is “set to appear” in an unsealed document related to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, it has been claimed.
But Fergie, who last month presented This Morning, kept her head held high as she walked by his side and waved at fans.
Posting on Twitter, Fergie said: “We are enjoying each other’s company and feeling grateful today.
“I hope everyone has a wonderful day. Happy Christmas to anyone who celebrates and season’s greetings to all.”
Andrew’s daughters were with their husbands, Princess Beatrice with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and Prince Eugenie with Jack Brooksbank.
The family are now returning from church to a traditional Christmas dinner.
It comes after the Duchess of York joined Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary on the sofa last month.
also edited the ITV1 show from the gallery — with segments including how to rehome a dog and an interview with Sir Cliff Richard.
had been teed up for I’m A Celebrity but talks collapsed when she refused to discuss Andrew, with whom she still lives.
