Prince Harry warned to ‘lay off’ Kate Middleton as Meghan Markle prepares for ‘explosive’ career move, ex butler claims
Paul Burrell insisted that the Sussexes will never be invited back into the royal fold, adding that “the doors are firmly shut"
PRINCE Harry has been warned to “lay off” his sister-in-law Kate Middleton as Meghan Markle gears up to write an “explosive” memoir, according to a former royal butler.
Paul Burrell, who worked for Princess Diana for over 10 years until her sudden death in 1997, claims that it’s “inevitable” for Meghan, 42, to “tell her side of the story”.
Paul claimed that this will be in a way similar to her husband’s protocol-shattering memoir, “Spare.”
Paul exclusively told : “I am waiting for Meghan to release her own memoir.
“[She] is inevitably going to write her side of the story because of how absent she was from ‘Spare,’ and that is because she is penning her memoir and telling it from a woman’s perspective.”
Paul warned that the royal family should “watch out” for the “explosion” that the former Suits actresses’ rumoured memoir could cause.
He claimed that there’s “going to be another bomb in the House of Windsor” as he revealed “another explosion will go off when we find out that she is going to publish, and she will.”
The ex royal butler is convinced that Meghan won’t stay silent, but it’ll do further ‘damage’ to the royal family.
He added: “There is no way she is going to stay quiet: She is going to want her side of the story out there and that will do even further damage to the royal family and rock them even more.”
But not only this, Paul also issued a stern warning to Harry, who he claims “has a nerve” to upset the Princess of Wales, 42, noting his past comments on his sister-in-law.
Paul explained: “I understand why they are upset, because Kate went to great lengths to find out if a royal life was for her and it caused her issues, but they both worked it out and she committed herself to a life of public service.”
When it comes to Kate, who is reportedly not looking to forgive the Sussexes after their “public betrayal”, Paul added: “This wasn’t a case of fitting the mould — it’s a case of finding the right person to do the job.
“Harry has got a nerve to say that because his mother was pressured into an arranged marriage and made to fit the mould.”
Paul then described Harry as “not always the sharpest tool in the box”, as he advised that the Prince “should lay off Kate and William.”
Not only this, but the ex-butler believed that the Duke of Sussex, 39, “will come to regret” the comments he has made about his family.
But that’s not all, as he also insisted that Harry should ‘be careful’ with his attacks.
The former butler also said: “He has to be careful about attacking the royal family.
“Meghan and Harry have forgotten their only unique selling point is being royal, so why are they trying to destroy the institution? It doesn’t make sense.”
He also insisted that the Sussexes will never be invited back into the royal fold “with open arms,” adding that “the doors are firmly shut.”
