QUEEN Camilla put an arm around Ukraine’s First Lady as she welcomed her to Clarence House yesterday.
Olena Zelenska visited Camilla and thanked her for the King’s support of Ukraine on this week’s second anniversary of Russia’s invasion.
Ms Zelenska posted a video online showing Camilla greeting her with a kiss on both cheeks and saying: “Hello. How very nice to see you.”
They were pictured in conversation in the Garden Room as they discussed the bravery of Ukrainians.
Ms Zelenska said: “Our values are common — life, freedom, democracy. Thank you for standing up for them together today.”
Camilla also thanked Ms Zelenska for her presence at the late Queen’s funeral.

They are also understood to have spoken of the effects of the war on women and children and how the UK can assist in caring for them.
The Queen and the first lady met previously in November 2022 at a Buckingham Palace reception to raise awareness of violence against women.
Ms Zelenska was also a guest at the King and Queen’s coronation last May, representing her war-torn nation with its prime minister Denys Shmyhal.
Camilla has been praised for keeping “the show on the road” while the King receives cancer treatment.
