KING Charles and Queen Camilla, along with other members of the Royal Family, will attend the Easter Mattins Service at St. George's Chapel.

It comes just a few days after it was thought the Princess of Wales won't attend the service at Windsor Castle on Easter Sunday.

Princess Kate is bravely battling cancer having revealed she is undergoing treatment.

The royal, 42, has remained absent from any official duties following abdominal surgery in January.

Kate said in a video message last week she initially showed no signs of cancer but post-op tests showed the disease had been “present”.

Kate said the family now needs “time, space and privacy” while she completes her treatment.

It is now believed she will not return to work at Easter, as was previously announced by the palace.

In a video message, she said: “My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able but for now I must focus on making a full recovery.

“At this time I am also thinking of all those lives affected by cancer. For everyone facing this disease in whatever form please do not lose faith or hope. You are not alone.”

It is traditional for the Royal Family to attend an Easter Service, with them attending one at Windsor last year.

William and their kids are not expected to head to St George's Chapel on the grounds of the Berkshire castle for the Easter Day Mattins.

King Charles is also being treated for cancer.

Officials have said the monarch is continuing with state business, including his regular weekly meetings with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and won't be handing over his constitutional role as head of state.

It is not immediately known which other members of the Royal Family will attend Sunday's service.

Although the Easter service is within the grounds of the castle, the King and Queen will be seen arriving, and are often watched by staff living at Windsor, who usually gather on a grassy bank nearby or watch from their doorsteps

The appearance will be the first major event for Charles, 75, since he was diagnosed with cancer in February.
