It comes as the King, who also has cancer, has told aides to supercharge his diary as he responds well to treatment

PRINCE William is returning to public engagements this week for the first time since the Princess of Wales announced she was being treated for cancer.

The couple spent most of the Easter holidays in Norfolk with their children George, ten, Charlotte, eight, and Louis, five.

Wills, 41, was last seen in public at an event tackling homelessness in Sheffield on March 19 — three days before Kate’s shock revelation.

The family did not attend the Royals Easter Sunday service in Windsor.

Just over three weeks ago, the princess gave a heartfelt and emotional video statement revealing she was undergoing preventative chemotherapy.

In her message, she described how William was a “great source of comfort and reassurance” and described how “as a family, we now need some time, space and privacy” while she completed her treatment.

There is no date for her return although Buckingham Palace garden parties and the Chelsea Flower Show take place next month.

Tomorrow, the Queen greets domestic violence survivors at Buckingham Palace.

Camilla, patron of SafeLives, will host four teens known as Changemakers.

The King, 75, who also has cancer, is resting at Birkhall, Balmoral, but has told aides he is “raring to go” and ordered them to supercharge his diary, after responding well to treatment.
