SOPHIE Trudeau has claimed she "hasn't spent much time" with Meghan Markle - despite the Duchess saying she is a "dear friend".
The former First Lady of Canada, 49, featured in an episode of Meghan's Archetypes podcast back in November 2022.
During a segment, the Duchess of Sussex, 42, claimed she had gone to Sophie "over the years for advice".
She also said her friend "used to send me little meditations during my pregnancy" and voice notes "of encouragement".

In the episode, titled 'Good Wife/Bad Wife, Good Mom/Bad Mom', Meghan described Sophie as a "dear friend".
The pair met nine years ago at Toronto's fashion week when Meghan was starring in Suits.
As Meghan introduced her special guest she said: "She knows what it feels like to be a mum and a partner.
"And specifically a mum and a partner in the public eye, and also how crushing the guilt of expectations can become the guilt that we feel as mothers or as women, in general, is self-imposed."

She also said Sophie was in town with her children for a few days, which was "exciting", and they and the kids played at the poolside.
Meghan said: "We splashed in the water, then threw some pool floats in.
"By the way, the inflatable pizza slice proved to be a big hit, which I found online.
"And I kid you not the one without pepperoni was a few dollars less than the one with pepperoni.
"And yes, I'm still talking about the inflatable pizza, float for the pool."
It comes after reports that Meghan has failed to find a CEO for her lifestyle brand despite weeks of searching.
She has spent the last five weeks interviewing for the position at American Riviera Orchard - which is a new site set to focus on home, food and goods.
A source in California close to the former actress said: "The initial CEO search has not panned out so far."
Filming for the brand began at Meghan and Harry's Californian mansion just last week.
While the bump in the road comes at a shock to Meghan, the failure to find a lead could see her bag a deal with Netflix.
It is understood she has entered talks with the streaming giant about setting up a commercial partnership with the brand.
The sourced added: "It would run the lifestyle business with Meghan, developing products as spin-offs from her show.
