THE Eras tour has made ‘Swifties’ of millions of Brits, including Prince William.
Royal expert Phil Dampier said William’s “dad dancing” at Wembley at Taylor Swift’s Friday’s show reveals the royal is “relaxed” and “so much happier” following Kate Middleton’s illness.
The Prince of Wales took Prince George, 10, and Princess Charlotte, nine, to the show, alongside fellow royals Zara and Mike Tindall to celebrate his 42nd birthday.
Phil told Fabulous: “It was fantastic to see Prince William enjoying himself at Wembley the other night.
He added: “The fact that he was so relaxed and so enjoying himself was the thing that really struck me, and he obviously didn't mind that he was being filmed.
“He must have known that people would pick up on it.
More on the royal family
“Everyone's got a mobile phone these days, and they were filming him.
“I think the main thing it tells us is that for him to be that relaxed, and that happy, he must be so much happier that Kate is well on the road to recovery.”
While Kate wasn’t in attendance at Taylor Swift, she did celebrate Trooping the Colour earlier this month.
Princess Kate, 42, delighted royal fans by appearing on the Buckingham Palace balcony alongside the King, Queen, Prince William and her children.

Phil added: “Obviously we saw her at Trooping the Colour, which was a fantastic sign, and the fact that he can leave her at home, and he can go out with the kids and enjoy himself, shows that he's very much pleased with her progress.”
Kate revealed back in March she was undergoing preventative cancer treatment, and she hasn’t done public duties since December.
At the Taylor Swift concert, a selfie of Prince William and his kids with the singer was posted on the Prince and Princess of Wales' Instagram account.
The royal author added: “They were laughing and joking, looking very, very happy, and that's a fantastic sign that they're all a lot a lot more relaxed about Kate's condition, and therefore that's spreading throughout the family and making the whole family relaxed.
“Because obviously, it's a worry for the children, as Kate said in that video that they need to know that she's going to be okay.
“I think it's very much sending out a message that they are in together, and William has had an incredible burden on him.”
He added: “I think he really looks like he's had a great burden lifted off him, and that's a very, very encouraging sign, not just for Kate and for the King, but also for William himself.”
To celebrate Williams’ birthday, wife Princess Kate posted a snap of her husband with their kids on a beach, adding "We all love you, Papa" to mark his birthday.
Phil said of the snap: “He’s being a good husband and a good father, you know.
“Obviously he's had to take on the burden of looking after the kids a lot more because Kate's been in recovery.
“But that fantastic picture that we saw of them all leaping over that sand dune that Kate took up in Norfolk, I think that really summed it up.

“It was an absolutely joyous photo, and it showed how relaxed they are.”
It comes after William was spotted in the crowd for England's drab 1-1 draw with Denmark in Germany on Thursday in Euro 2024, and him at Royal Ascot on Wednesday.
