BEING married to royalty can have its perks, especially when it comes to receiving birthday presents.
Meghan Markle turns 43 today and could be set to receive an expensive painting from the Duke of Sussex, according to a royal expert.
Editor-in-Chief of Majesty Magazine Ingrid Seward told Fabulous: “Prince Harry's quite sentimental and he's very anxious to keep Mengan happy.
Although 43 isn't a particularly milestone birthday, I'm sure they'll he'll give her something really nice.
“In the past he's given her a lot of jewellery, mostly from his late mother.
“He gave her a gorgeous Cartier watch, a gold one, he gave her Diana's tennis bracelet, he gave her Diana's aquamarine ring, and he's also given her some of Diana's earrings.

“I suspect Harry might veer off jewellery and maybe give her a painting or something this time, he's given her paintings before.
“I'm sure it'll be something that you know she's going to be able to either wear, or have in the house.”
SENTIMENTAL GIFTS FROM KIDS
While Prince Harry may be pushing the boat out with his lavish gift, Meghan could receive something homemade from her two children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.
Ingrid added: “Definitely from Archie, it would be something homemade, Meghan would be very into that.

“Maybe Archie would give her a friendship bracelet.
“These have had a revival recently because Taylor Swift wears them and gives them out as gifts, so I think that that might be something that Archie's been working on.
“Lilibet's a little bit too young to do that, but I would imagine she probably drawn her mummy a beautiful picture, that's the sort of thing that parents absolutely love.”
CARD FROM KATE
Relations have been tense between Prince William and Prince Harry in recent years, particularly following the Duke’s bombshell Spare memoir and Oprah Winfrey interview.
During the chat with Oprah, Meghan claimed it was Kate who made her cry following the bridesmaid dress fallout.
However, the royal expert thinks that the Princess of Wales will still send birthday wishes across the pond.
She claimed: “I'm sure she'll receive a card or a message, but I can't see that they would be sending her a present.
“It's not a milestone birthday, and also, remember, we got Harry's milestone birthday coming up on September 15 when he turns 40 and that's going to be much, much more significant than this particular birthday of Meghan's.”
MEGHAN’S £75K RING FROM HARRY
Meghan has been gifted a number of items from Prince Harry that previously belonged to Princess Diana, who passed away in 1997.
One of the most expensive is a £75,000 aquamarine ring, which she wore on her wedding evening reception.
The ring is set in 24-carat yellow old and features a pale blue stone surrounded by smaller diamonds.
It was famously commissioned by Diana after her divorce in the 90s, and while it is said to be worth around £75,000, it could be worth much more thanks to its royal ties.
Meghan Markle's £15k 'push present' from Prince Harry
MEGHAN Markle has a staggering jewellery collection - but have you ever noticed the £15,000 “push present” piece that Prince Harry gave to her?
Following the birth of their son Archie, who is now four, the Duke of Sussex reportedly bought Meghan a sapphire pinky ring.
According to : “Meghan Markle has several [pinky rings] in her collection, including a blue sapphire heart by Jessica McCormack, believed to be a ‘push present’ after Archie was born.”
We saw Meghan wear the exquisite pinky ring as she attended Wimbledon in July 2019.
The heart-shaped item is from Jessica McCormack’s Signature collection and is said to be “set with a 0.94 carat heart cut sapphire handcrafted in blackened 18k white gold and 18k yellow gold”.
However, it’s not the only item rumoured to be Meghan’s “push present” from Harry.
Some fans thought Meghan’s “third wedding ring” is a special gift to celebrate Archie’s birth.
Alongside Meghan's gold banded three-stone engagement ring, which includes two diamonds from Princess Diana's collection, and her plain gold wedding band, the Duchess often wears another gold ring.
Push presents have “become a tradition in the royal family” over the years, according to royal etiquette expert Myka Meier.
Prince William is reported to have given Kate Middleton a £1,000 white gold eternity ring after the birth of their first son, George, which she wears on her wedding finger.
MEG’S BIRTHDAY WISH
Meghan previously revealed her repeated birthday wish, and said it is actually inspired by her mum Doria Ragland, who regards birthdays as “your own personal new year”.
Meghan revealed in 2016 on her now-defunct lifestyle blog, The Tig, that every year she wishes for “more inspiration”.
