MEGHAN Markle is reportedly concerned about Princess Kate mediating talks between William and Harry, according to a royal insider.
It has been revealed that “tension” increased after Kate encouraged William to speak about his brother in last week’s prime-time TV documentary.
William said Harry’s name publicly for the first time in six years while on ITV’s Prince William: We Can End Homelessness.
He reflected on their mother Diana taking them to a homeless shelter as children.
“My mother took me to the Passage, she took Harry and I both there,” William said.
“I'd never been to anything like that before and I was a bit anxious as to what to expect.”

The comments came as a surprise to viewers as the brothers’ relationship has been strained since Harry stepped down as a senior working royal in 2020.
An insider revealed to Closer magazine that Meghan has become “increasingly suspicious” of Kate and William’s efforts to win Harry back into The Firm.
“Kate was very much behind William’s olive branch and has spent more time recently encouraging him to do more in her bid to heal their rift,” the source told .
They revealed that the rift between William and Harry is having an “awful effect” on both of the brothers’ mental health.

Kate’s desire to end their feud comes from concern about how it has impacted her family.
“She’s found it heartbreaking the change in William and has repeatedly urged him to try to deal with his deep-rooted pain and find forgiveness in his heart for Harry so that they can both start to repair their relationship and move on,” the insider said.
However, Meghan is allegedly “desperately” trying to prevent any reconciliation.
“She’s insisting that his family will use them against him and try to pit them against each other,” according to the insider.
“She’s furious and has very firmly let it be known, through Harry, that she wants Kate to stop messaging him.”
Rumours of a feud began in 2016 when Harry ignored William’s concerns about how quickly his relationship with Meghan was moving.
Charles reportedly then had to step in and ask William to make an effort to welcome Meghan into the Royal Family in 2018.
Prince Harry described he and William as being on “different paths” a year later on the ITV documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey.
Why did Prince Harry and Meghan Markle step back as senior working royals?
PRINCE Harry has always wanted out of the Royal Family and the repercussions will be felt for years, an expert has claimed.
The Duke of Sussex has lived in California with his wife Meghan Markle since 2020 after they dramatically quit their jobs as working royals and moved across the pond.
Katie Nicholl, who is Vanity Fair's royal correspondent, told The Sun's Royal Exclusive show that Megxit did not come as a surprise to her.
Speaking to The Sun's Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson, the commentator explained: "Anyone who knows Harry is aware he's always wanted a way out of the Royal Family.
"He's said multiple times on the record that he wished he'd never been born a prince.
"I think he really is living the life he wants to now. It's very, very sad that it's played out the way it has.”
In a statement made on the Sussexes' account as they stepped back in 2020, the pair wrote: "After many months of reflection and internal discussions, we have chosen to make a transition this year in starting to carve out a progressive new role within this institution.
"We intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen.
"It is with your encouragement, particularly over the last few years, that we feel prepared to make this adjustment.
"We now plan to balance our time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour our duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and our patronages.
"This geographic balance will enable us to raise our son with an appreciation for the royal tradition into which he was born, while also providing our family with the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charitable entity.”
Since stepping down from the Royal Family, Harry and Meghan have given a glimpse into their lives with an Oprah Winfrey interview and a Netflix documentary.
The Duke of Sussex claimed in his book that William once physically attacked him over his marriage to Meghan.
"It all happened so fast,” Harry wrote in Spare.
“So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor.
“I landed on the dog's bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me.”
