When is Black Friday 2023?

This year, Black Friday is taking place on Friday November 24.

Black Friday is a decades-old tradition over in the U.S. (which is why it's always the day after Thanksgiving), and has steadily gained popularity in the UK in recent years.

One word of caution though, the name suggests it's a day-long sale, which it isn't.

Instead, you can expect sales to start as early as the beginning of November.

Although the very best deals tend to be held back until the week of Black Friday itself, which starts on Monday, 20 November.

Will the Xbox Series S be on sale this Black Friday?

Our guess is that we'll see a number of impressive price drops across a range of bundles and subscription deals.

It is worth doing some research ahead of time and comparing prices in advance to check if you really are getting the best possible discount when deals launch.

The jury is out on whether we will see price cuts on the console itself, since it's still very much in demand.

What Xbox Series S deals were there last Black Friday?

Last year saw some significant price drops on the Xbox Series S console.

For example, Currys had a £60 saving, lowering the retail price from £249.99 to £189.

We're pretty confident that we will also see subscription and games pass bundles like the and discounted during the sale event.

Don't forget we will also be updating this page with all the best deals too.

When is Cyber Monday 2023?

Cyber Monday is always the Monday that follows on immediately after Black Friday - so this year, that's November 27.

Historically, it was a day of online-only deals, whereas most Black Friday offers were exclusively in-store.

But internet shopping has boom in recent years, especially during the Covid pandemic, so in reality there's very little difference between the two sales days.

You can expect a final wave of deals on Cyber Monday, plus some potential further price drops on products already on sale.

However, take caution: if you see a great deal during Black Friday, it may well sell out by the time Cyber Monday comes around.
