Bush TDT110HP 10KG Heat Pump Tumble Dryer, £390 £310
Bush TDT110HP 10KG Heat Pump Tumble Dryer, £390 £310
Is there ever a time of year when a tumble dryer is more needed than now, when winter weather means you can’t dry clothes easily outside?
A heat pump tumble dryer is not the guzzling energy eater you might assume it to be, as the heat it generates is reused to dry your washing, rather than heat up your kitchen and steam up your windows.
Running costs are less than for a traditional condenser drier – the Cotton Cupboard Dry programme uses 2.3kW of electricity, which equates to 56p per load, whereas a regular condenser dryer can cost twice that amount.

When is Black Friday 2024?
Asking yourself 'When is Black Friday UK?'
Allow us to help: it takes place on 29 November this year, and you can find out more about the Black Friday meaning and name in our guide.
Traditionally, this shopping event falls the day after Thanksgiving in the US, and until relatively recently, was an American phenomenon.
Now, however, Black Friday has spread around the world.
For the UK, Black Friday is a massive shopping day and the perfect time if you're looking to stock up early for Christmas.

How long are Argos Black Friday deals on for?
Argos Black Friday deals
Last year, many of the Argos Black Friday deals ran for most of November – culminating in deals ending on the Tuesday morning following Cyber Monday.
However, it's not uncommon for some deals to last into early December if stock is still available.
So there's no need to panic if you have a busy schedule and miss out on snapping up bargains on the day.
Whether you're planning to buy all your festive gifts, treat yourself to a new appliance or two, or upgrade your kitchen, you'll want to check back here regularly.
We'll keep you updated with the latest and best offers, as they come in.
Does Argos price match items?
Argos is bringing back its Price Promise for 2024.
The Price Promise ensures the price of items labelled with the badge will not drop any cheaper before midnight on 25 December.
This gives peace of mind to organised shoppers who want to pick up bargains now, but don't want to miss out on finding the lowest possible prices.
This offer is rolled out on goods bought in-store and from the Argos website.
Of course, we recommend shopping around and comparing prices on coveted items this month, as many retailers will launch rival deals on the same or similar products.
When is Cyber Monday 2024 and is Argos taking part?
The answer to 'when is Cyber Monday?' is that it's always the Monday following Black Friday.
We're used to seeing it pop up in November, but since Black Friday is happening on the 29th this year, we won't see Cyber Monday until the 2nd of December.
The final day of the Cyber weekend is usually where you'll find all of the last-minute deals.
It's fair to say it's highly likely Argos will participate in Cyber Monday.
Although we expect there will be great bargains to be had throughout the weekend.
While some deals are already live, other flash offers may only be available on Cyber Monday.
It's worth ensuring you and follow the brand on to get the very latest information as it's shared during the sale.
