Where to buy Merit Beauty
Where to buy is the question on everybody’s lips, but there is only one place to shop the brand in the UK – any guesses?
is currently only available to shop directly on
Whether this will change and the brand may be stocked on other retailers remains unknown, but we will keep you updated as soon as we know if there will be changes to the stockists.
However, being able to shop the label in one place is a blessing, as it means we can keep our eyes on the one retailer for newness, and when items are back in stock, instead of checking four different retailers in search of one product, or a specific shade.
What is the deal with Merit Beauty?
aims to deliver cruelty-free, vegan and gentle products across skincare and make-up to simplify your beauty routine.
The beauty business is super saturated so it can be difficult to find the perfect products to suit your needs, budget and skin type.
But aims to simplify it all.
Instead of using numerous products to complete your make-up look, you can use one or two, as most products are multifunctional.
Instead of having tonnes of products to work into your skin, you can have a select few or a minimalist bundle that has been expertly curated.
The items in the range are perfect for everyday make-up, for those on the go, as well as those who want a full face of make-up, as every product is buildable for those wanting fuller coverage.
Is Merit Beauty good?
We have tried a variety of products from and we have loved them so far.
The serum is deeply hydrating, and glides on the skin to hydrate, repair and instantly illuminate.
The bronzer sticks, blusher and lipsticks are also nourishing, and non-greasy, but strongly pigmented to brighten, illuminate and provide that coverage you desire.
We have sifted through to give you our favourite products in the range.
Our six favourite Merit Beauty products
1. Great Skin Instant Glow Serum
Great Skin Instant Glow Serum, £40
The is the only skincare item in Merit, but that is the point – why do you need other lotions and potions when one miracle product can do it all?
This serum is more like an oil texture and works to hydrate and nourish the skin, while also brightening your complexion.
When working from home I felt like it kept my skin deeply hydrated for hours on end, and absorbed into the skin without leaving it dry after.
The non-comedogenic formula is infused with four types of hyaluronic acid, which works to target numerous layers of the skin for topical hydration, as well as deeper nourishment too, so you can be sure your skin is hydrated all day.
Niacinamide works to brighten the skin, while also working to smooth uneven skin tone and texture, and cacao seed extract plumps the skin for a more vibrant complexion.
2. Signature Lip
Signature Lip, £28
Merit’s Signature Lip is velvet-soft on the lips, pigmented and buildable.
There are two types of lipsticks, mattes and satins, which span across a total of 17 lipstick shades (including new shade ).
The matte lipsticks are velvety soft, but non-drying, while the satin creations are nourishing, and provide a subtle sheen.
Merit has worked hard to create two lipstick variations, but they contain different ingredients.
The satin lipsticks are created from plant squalane and sunflower seed oil to nourish dry and chapped lips, papain enzyme works to combat any soreness and soothe the pout, while vitamin C aims to reduce the appearance of fine lines in the lips, which is a sign of ageing.
The matte formulation includes hydrating hyaluronic acid, and sesame seed extract to condition the lips.
While the matte lipsticks act as a blurring effect, they are nourishing and do not clog into the cracks of dry lips – a pet peeve of mine.
Apply the lipsticks sparingly for a subtle bitten lip look, apply once for a pop of colour, or layer over a few times for a stronger pigment.
Plus, you can add Merit’s Tinted Lip Oil for a glossy finish should you wish.
3. Bronze Balm
Bronze Balm, £32
We love bronzer and always have done as it instantly brightens the skin and provides a sunkissed glow. In other needs, bronzer is my holy grail to make me look alive when my translucent make-up-free skin looks lacklustre.
I have also been loving multifunctional make-up sticks, so the Bronze Balm from Merit ticks a lot of my boxes.
The stick design makes it easy to apply, and blend, especially when on the go, it also provides a little more accuracy than a brush especially as I can use as bronzer, a contour stick, an eyeshadow pencil and lip liner.
The is more than just a bronzer, but is a nourishing balm to also hydrates the skin without feeling cakey but provides a natural warmth and sunkissed glow.
The product, which comes in five shades to suit all skin tones, provides a satin finish and is not tacky or super matte that it sticks into your pores
4. Brow 1980
Brow 1980, £26
Merit’s eye products span across a mascara, brow tint and eyeshadow balm, all of which are simply heavenly, easy to apply, buildable and gentle around the delicate eye area.
If you like voluminous bushy brows or just want them to stay in shape, but don’t want to use something as heavy as a brow pencil, then you will love the as much as we do.
The brow tint comes in three shades to suit all skin tones and hair colours. It is a super compact product about the length of your palm, which is perfect when on the go.
The bristle brush glides through even the most stubborn eyebrows to hold, but also provides an extra depth of colour.
It is not as tacky or firm as some brow glues and gels, but more subtle than a pencil or pomade pot.
5. The Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Stick
The Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Stick, £40
It is hard to describe , even the website reads “not a foundation or a concealer, but it’ll replace both in your makeup bag.”
We’d be inclined to call this creation more of a multipurpose stick, as it can conceal blemishes, blur imperfections and provide a flawless base that looks like your skin – but better.
You could also use it to highlight, or contour your skin if you mix and match shades.
This product provides light to medium coverage, which is lightweight on the skin, does not cake or look too “done” and is breathable too.
It is a buildable product so you can apply sporadically in certain areas, lightly blend all over the face, or build up for heavier coverage.
Not only does it work to conceal and blur your skin for an even and flawless complexion, but it is infused with fatty acids and sea daffodil extract to combat pigmentation and uneven skin tone.
It comes in so there is bound to be a perfect match to suit all skin tones.
6. The Full Collection
The Full Collection, £321 (Was £368)
If you are unsure what to buy and want everything (and we don’t blame you), then The Full Collection is for you.
Instead of shopping every single item separately, this bundle also includes a £47 saving.
The includes every make-up essential, two brushes, as well as the Great Skin serum.
The complete contents list includes; The Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Stick, Flush Balm blusher, Shade Slick Tinted Lip Oil, Brushes One and Two, which are a blending brush and eyeshadow brush respectively, Day Glow Highlighting Balm, Bronze Balm bronzer, Clean Lash mascara, Signature Lip, Brow 1980 pomade, Great Skin serum, and Solo Shadow.
The best part about this kit is that Merit hasn’t included the most popular shades, or some of the rogue hues like some kits do, but has left it open for the customer to select the best shade that suits their complexion for every product that comes in multiple shades.
Let’s not forget to mention this purchase would make any shopper eligible for free delivery, which is a bonus.
