While tech giants like Samsung, Apple and Google annually release high-end flagship devices that draw huge attention from anyone looking to upgrade their device.

There's been an increasing interest in cost-conscious alternatives, as they're often built with current tech and even sometimes have better specs in one or two areas.

The Galaxy A15 is less than a year old, having been released in December 2023.

Amazon shoppers are definitely aware of how good the Galaxy A15 is as it currently wears the crown with the number one spot on the retail giant's

The Samsung Galaxy A15 is factory unlocked, so if you're with Vodafone, Voxi or EE, you can pop your SIM in, and you're ready to go.

The current flagship devices' battery sizes are usually either 4,000mAh or 4,500mAh, so it's pleasing to know that the A15 tops them with a whopping 5,000mAh battery.

Seeing as you're often promised around a full day of usage with 4,000mAh batteries, it's probably safe to assume you'll be able to stretch your usage well into the next day.

A long-lasting battery is great, but it's of little use if you're not going to use it to save memories.

The is equipped with a 50MP rear camera, so even if you're not quite a professional photographer, you'll be able to snap some shots you'll show off in 10 years' time.

Those of us who like to keep up with our favourite shows while on the way to work or school run have access to a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED screen.

Forgetting about the tech jargon that means it offers brighter colours and super sharp contrasts.

Couple that with the 90Hz refresh rate, and you've got a small device you can fully immerse yourself in.

Being the number 1 best-selling phone currently should mean it comes as no surprise that there are many positive reviews.

It's worth remembering that just because it's missing some of the frills doesn't mean it lacks some pretty nifty features.

One Amazon shopper notes, ' [It has] really good battery options; you can set it to only charge to 80% max, which can be a game changer for the life of your battery.'

Samsung has implemented a pretty useful feature for the longevity of your battery life.

The longer we have our phones, the more we notice they seem to run out of charge quicker.

That's because fully charging the battery to 100% overnight leads to wearing out the battery, and it won't hold a charge as well.

So, the Galaxy A15 allows you to protect the battery by closing the electrical charge at around 80%.

Yes, you won't have a 100% charge, but you increase the longevity of the phone's charge capacity by quite a bit.

Another states: 'You will be hard-pressed to get anything better for the price.'
