LOGAN PAUL suffered a shock defeat to KSI in their YouTube boxing rematch at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The American star had been the heavy favourite to beat his British counterpart in their professional bout.
But it was KSI who was victorious as he claimed a split decision win after the fight went the full six rounds.
Yet, Paul was not happy with the result, having been docked two points for illegally holding down and hitting his opponent while the Brit was on the canvas - and now plans to appeal the deduction that cost him the defeat.
What happens if Logan Paul's appeal is successful?
In his post-fight interview, Logan Paul immediately called for the decision to be overturned.
The American said: "I let emotions get the best of me.
"No warning and I got two points taken away from me.
"I would love to contest the commission."
Paul caught KSI in the fourth round with an uppercut that saw the Brit head for the floor.
Yet, as the Watford-born ace was landing on the canvas, his YouTube rival held him down and punched him in the back of the head.
The referee accepted the knockdown as being legal, but docked him two points for the faults - which proved costly as he lost by just one point on the deciding judge's scorecard.
While it is unclear the outcome should Paul appeal, it is likely that the victory would be handed to the American if he was successful.
He would be expected to be handed the two points deducted back, which would make him the YouTube champion for the first time and end KSI's reign.
In October, Welsh boxing star Lauren Price won her own appeal, becoming world champion after initially losing to Nouchka Fontijn on a split decision, as reported by .
