Love Island star Sam Gowland confirms he will fight again after Fame MMA win over Geordie Shore rival Marty McKenna
REALITY TV star Sam Gowland confirmed he will be fighting again after his win against Geordie Shore rival Marty McKenna.
The ex-Love Island contestant headlined Fame MMA, a Polish celebrity fighting promotion, in Newcastle against McKenna after the pair feuded online.
Gowland grappled his way to victory over two rounds eventually choking out his exhausted rival.
And the 24-year-old revealed he will be back in the cage again in 2020.
Gowland tweeted: “We go again early next year keep your eyes peeled.”
The Geordie Shore star trains in Newcastle with friend and professional MMA fighter Aaron Chalmers.
Chalmers left the popular MTV show to focus on his fighting career, going 4-1 since his debut in 2017.
The Bellator welterweight was cageside as his trainer Alex Enlund cornered Gowland in the celebrity MMA fight.

Gowland said after the win: “I’m over the moon I called first round but in fairness to Marty fair play a lot stronger than I thought.
“I said before the fought I'm far too technical, I’m [fitter] and stronger and I f***ing won baby, up the Boro.
“Fame MMA, English or Polish person, I’m not bothered, I’ll fight anyone.”
