Tyson Fury’s dad offers David Haye £100,000 bet that Gypsy King will beat Deontay Wilder in rematch

TYSON FURY'S dad John has offered David Haye a £100,000 bet that his son will beat Deontay Wilder in the rematch.

The incredible wager was offered on BT Sport's The Debate, where the two were discussing the mouthwatering clash set for February 22 in Las Vegas.

Haye was saying that he sees no sign of Wilder "cracking" when the two heavyweight giants go at it for part two.

But Fury Sr was non too happy with Haye seemingly siding with the American, and he told the former WBA heavyweight world champ to put his money where his mouth was.

John, 52, said: “Do you want to bet? I’ll bet you 50 grand, 100 grand, I'm a man of my word."

But Haye wasn't interested in shaking on the deal.

The 39-year-old responded: “I don’t like to bet. It’s not about betting.

"It’s about my opinion, and my opinion is Wilder won’t crack. He’s not the cracking type of guy.

"I’ve never seen anything in the ring when he’s fought, and I’ve never seen anything personality-wise.

"I’ve never seen anything in sparring that suggests that he cracks under pressure. Until I see a man crack, I give the man the benefit of the doubt.

FURY GETS CHANCE OF REVENGE

Haye's insistence that he "doesn't like to bet" comes as somewhat of a surprise.

The retired boxer from Bermondsey is a big poker fan having won a big event in Coventry and then taking part in an international festival in Manila.

Fury, meanwhile, is just two weeks away from the chance to right that wrong from December 2018.

The judges gave the first fight as a draw despite most people ringside and watching on TV believing Fury, 31, should have won the WBC world title.

Fury will be starring in a special behind-the-scenes three-part series revealing all about his life in and out of the ring.

The first episode of ‘Tyson Fury: The Gypsy King’ will be broadcast next Thursday night, nine days before he is back in action.

A camera crew followed Fury and his family for several months throughout his last two bouts.

He defeated Tom Schwarz in June before overcoming a deep cut to his right eye to beat Otto Wallin on points in September.

As well as shining a spotlight on his well-documented mental health battle, its producers have also promised to “reveal the most complete and intimate portrait” of the boxer ever seen.
