Conor McGregor could fight Jorge Masvidal for BMF title on remote UFC Fight Island, reveals Dana White
CONOR MCGREGOR could fight Jorge Masvidal for the ‘Baddest Mother F***er’ belt, according to UFC president Dana White.
The Notorious snubbed the chance to face Gambred for the specially created BMF title to chase welterweight king Kamaru Usman and become the first-ever three-division champ.
Yet Masvidal seemed to be in line for that opportunity after overcoming Nate Diaz at UFC 244 before plans changed.
White has since announced that his promotion are working on "something interesting" for Gambred, who has been vocal in his pursuit of a bout with McGregor.

He said: "The Usman fight is the fight that makes sense.
"It's the fight that needs to happen if Masvidal wants a title shot.
"But, yeah, there's another interesting fight out there for him right now."

McGregor, 31, made his long-awaited return to the cage to win his first fight since 2016 after knocking out Donald Cerrone in January.
And when asked about the Irishman challenging Masvidal for the BMF title on Fight Island, White added: "Very good point. That's a possibility too."
But the UFC supremo shrugged off the idea that the contest is the biggest the promotion can hold.
He said: "I don't know, man.
"I think Conor-Khabib is a massive fight; Conor against anybody is a massive fight. Tony and Khabib, if that thing can happen it's a massive fight."
White previously revealed plans for Fight Island that includes an octagon on a beach and could be ready next month.
