Is Manchester United’s Morgan Schneiderlin the most down-to-earth Premier League footballer?
MORGAN SCHNEIDERLIN could be the most down-to-earth football star ever.
The Manchester United man, 26, took a stroll through the city centre with his £10-an-hour adidas shop assistant fiancee, Camille Sold, on Thursday.
The France ace, who pockets roughly £100,000-a-week, was driving a £20k, white Mini Cooper on his way in and out of town.
And Schneiderlin, dressed in a black adidas hoodie and jogging bottoms, stopped for a chat with an avid United fan in the streets of Manchester.
The Red Devils midfielder first waited for France-born Camille, 22, to finish her shift at the adidas store before they set off through town together.
The Sun exclusively revealed the millionaire Premier League star was dating brunette beauty Camille last August.
And the Frenchman proposed to Camille in March after a candle-lit dinner overlooking the Mediterranean in the South of France.
The pair are renting ex-United defender Phil Neville’s £4m, 45th-floor, three-storey designer apartment in Manchester’s flashy Beethan Tower.
Schneiderlin is in a race against the clock as he bids to recover from illness in time for United’s FA Cup final clash against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
He missed Tuesday night’s clash with Bournemouth through injury as the Red Devils secured fifth place with a 3-1 win at Old Trafford.
After the fixture was initially postponed amid a bomb scare, the formerSouthampton midfielder tweeted: “Wasn’t at the stadium due of illness but feel so sad of what happened this afternoon.
“Happy that all the people are safe and feel sorry for all the fans. Thanks to the police and security staff who were able to handle the situation.”
Schneiderlin missed out on Didier Deschamps’ provisional 26-man Euro 2016 France squad, instead being named on the reserve list behind the likes ofLeicester’s N’Golo Kante and Crsytal Palace maestro Yohan Cabaye.
Les Bleus are favourites to win the tournament on home soil this summer, with better odds on Germany and Spain than England.
