Watch classy UFC star Makwan Amirkhani help Danny Henry regain consciousness after anaconda submission
MAKWAN AMIRKHANI scored a submission win against Danny Henry - and was then lauded for an incredibly classy gesture.
Mr Finland was impressive against the Scot, scoring a first round win with his patented anaconda submission.
In fact, Amirkhani became one of only three fighters to win with that move in multiple UFC fights.
After choking out The Hatchet, the concerned Amirkhani showed great sportsmanship to then help his opponent regain consciousness.
He immediately ensured Henry opponent wasn't in serious trouble, moving to raise his legs in the air as the Scot lay out cold on the ground.
Amirkhani then let medical staff tend to the beaten fighter.
The theory is that with legs in the air, blood flow will increase to the head and brain and help the person regain consciousness quicker.
The gesture was hugely appreciated on social media.
