Tottenham and Manchester United have also been on the trail of the 35-capped Feghouli, who is out of contract with the La Liga club later this month.

Inter Milan and Fenerbahce have also scouted Feghouli while Sevilla and Villarreal were both hoping to keep him in Spain.

But it appears the 26-year-old, who normally plays on the right wing, but can also be used behind the main striker, has his heart set on the East End.

Feghouli is said to be impressed with the Hammers vision for the future as they prepare to move in to the Olympic Stadium.

In 136 appearances for Valencia, Feghouli has found the back of the net 20 times since arriving from Grenoble in 2010.
