RICE REACTION
Declan Rice echoed the words of his manager, insisting it was crucial to avoid defeat if they were unable to bag the win. The England midfielder added that winning the group is still in their own hands as they prepare to take on leaders Czech Republic on Tuesday.
The games at home we should be winning, but all credit to Scotland - they defended for their lives. We had our chances to put it away though, but when John Stones' header hit the post it felt like it might not be our night. We need to improve, and the Czech Republic game is now massive.
Declan RiceCAPTAIN'S LOG
Scotland skipper Andy Robertson believes Scotland did enough to win tonight's game, but urged Scottish fans and players not to be carried away by one result, and instead use the positive energy to take into the next group match with Croatia.
I think we had the big chances. At times, we kept the ball superbly well, and frustrated them. On another night, we could have come away with even more. We’ll take a point, it keeps us alive. It’s important that use this feeling and the fans being happy into Tuesday to get the positive result we need.

England coach Gareth Southgate has acknowledged that his side need to improve on tonight's showing if they are to go far in the competition, but praised their resoluteness in keeping a second clean sheet.
It was a frustrating night. We know we can play better. In the end, we didn't do enough to win the game, but if you're not going to win the game in a tournament, you need to make sure you don't lose it.

THE STANDINGS
Scotland are off the mark for points with tonight's draw at Wembley, but still await their first goal of Euro 2020.
However, they have given themselves a real chance of qualification if they can beat their second team, Croatia, at Hampden Park on Tuesday.
BILLY WHIZZ
The Scotland fans clamoured for Billy Gilmour to start this evening, but - unlike Gareth Southgate with Jack Grealish - Steve Clarke wasn't frightened to oblige.
The result was a thoroughly assured performance by the 20-year-old in the centre of midfield, and he is destined for a big future for club and country.

I CAN BOO-GIE
While some England fans showed their displeasure with boos at the final whistle (and some showed their ignorance with boos before the game), the Scotland fans are loving life right now.
It was Three Lions ahead of kick-off, but now it's 'Yes Sir, I Can Boogie' - the 1970s' disco song taken on by the Scotland team - that rings out of the PA system at Wembley.
Not a single member of the Tartan Army has left the stadium yet, and you feel the celebrations of this goalless draw will go long into the night.
FULL TIME STATS
England only managed one shot on target in 90 minutes, and that was a 20-yard thumper from Mason Mount. Improvements needed.
FT: ENGLAND 0-0 SCOTLAND
For the first time, a game between England and Scotland at Wembley ends goalless. Some boos emanate from the home fans at the final whistle following a Three Lions performance that lacked pace and guile. The Scotland fans, meanwhile, celebrate like they've won the tournament, and they deserve this moment. Their players gave everything against the old enemy, and could have won it with more assured finishing.

On the overlap, James sends in a low centre that has Rice and Sterling on the prowl. McTominay slides in to stop them, and the ball gets trapped between all three players and a scrambling David Marshall.

Rashford almost shows that he is, but a terrific piece of defending from Hanley stops the sub in his tracks.

Instead, he takes play to the touchline and falls in a heap as Robertson comes across to challenge.

Whether that's at himself for holding his run, or the substitute for delaying the pass, I wouldn't want to say.
