'THEY DON'T LIKE ME'

Derek Chisora rages at judges after Joseph Parker wins on split decision and claims even rival’s coach told him he’d won

DEREK CHISORA is adamant he was robbed of a clear victory against Joseph Parker.

Del Boy suffered a split decision loss to the former WBO heavyweight champion on Saturday night, despite dropping him a matter of seconds into the fight.

Chisora turned in a markedly better display than he did against former undisputed cruiserweight king Oleksandr Usyk last November, although the judges preferred Parker's handiwork to his.

An enraged Chisora fumed: "I am beyond getting upset now. I train hard, I bring everything and this is the treatment I get from boxing.

"Same as last fight. They don't like me.

"I put it all in there and this is the result I get. This is unbelievable. Even his coach Andy Lee said I won the fight."

Parker, 29, was less than convinced with the judges' scorecards.

He said: “It was a tough fight, I got caught right at the beginning, I just had to dig deep and stay focussed.

“Derek is a very tough opponent, he came forward and put pressure on me from the beginning, threw big bombs and landed – a lot.

“The boxing skills from the middle rounds towards the end [made the difference] but it was a very close fight. I thought it could go either way.

Despite suffering back-to-back losses and being well on the wrong side of 30, Chisora has no intention of hanging up his gloves any time soon.

The 37-year-old said: "I was putting in more power punches, inside work, but I can't get upset anymore.

"But you know what, I won't let them slow me down. No way. I will not let them slow me down. I will go again.

"They want to see me retire, but I'm not retiring yet, forget that."

Chisora could very well get the chance to exact revenge on Parker on the undercard of Anthony Joshua's blockbuster undisputed heavyweight title fight with Tyson Fury.
