WWE champion Bobby Lashley promises Hollywood star Dave Bautista a title shot if he makes wrestling retirement U-turn

BOBBY LASHLEY has promised Dave Bautista an instant shot at his WWE Title if the now Hollywood star makes a retirement U-turn.

The All Mighty met up with the soon-to-be Hall of Famer recently and could not resist using the catch-up to tease fans.

He then promised the veteran a shot at his title if he returned to WWE

Lashley shared several photos of the pair near a restaurant, with the man known better as Batista to wrestling viewers even lifting up the huge champ in a big hug at one point.

The CEO of the Hurt Business captioned the snaps with: “So good seeing my good friend @davebautista. And Yes I will give you a title shot if you ever return!

“Nevertheless Congrats on all your successes brotha. (sic)”

The 52-year-old Bautista retired from the ring in 2019 after making a return to battle friend and old Evolution partner Triple H at WrestleMania 35.

Batista left McMahon’s pro wrestling company in 2010 but returned three years later.

The Hollywood actor walked out of the WWE again in 2014 after Evolution lost to The Shield and would not come back until 2018, wrestling his final match a year later.

With his competitive career now up, Batista insisted he will remain ‘connected’ with the WWE Universe.

However, during the 2020 interview he also vowed his in-ring days were done.

He explained: “I said that at WrestleMania last year it’s the end of my in-ring journey.

“But it’s not the end of my journey with the WWE.”

Meanwhile, Lashley will defend his belt on May 17’s WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view against Drew McIntyre and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat.
