Manchester United right-back Guillermo Varela joins Eintracht Frankfurt on loan
has joined Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt on a season-long loan from Manchester United.
The Uruguayan defender, 23, had to wait until December 2015 to make his senior debut last season after arriving at Old Trafford from Penarol in 2013.
He has since made a total of 11 appearances for United, impressing as right back in the latter end of last season, as well as spending a year on loan with Real Madrid's reserve team Castilla.

Varela played for the Red Devils in their 2-0 pre-season friendly win at Wigan last weekend but did not travel with the squad to China - nor did he get a squad number when they were released earlier this week.
He has now completed a switch to Frankfurt, with the deal running through to June 30, 2017.
Eintracht finished a lowly 16th in the Bundesliga last term and only preserved their status in the German top-flight with a relegation play-off victory over Nurnberg.
