46' Sterling is fouled by James this time and wins a free kick on the left.
It's around 30 yards from goal, wide on the left.
De Bruyne stands over it.
PEEEEEEEEEEEP!
Back underway with no personnel changes at half-time.

ON THE WAY BACK
The players trot back out to cheers and boos as the second-half is moments away.

The stats and all-important numbers from that opening half.
The players gather in the tunnel again.

The Kai Havertz goal that is the difference.
I put more effort into copying and pasting in that Zinchenko did defending.
That ball from Mount is exquisite - the first Englishman to assist in a CL Final since Wes Brown....

Enthralling stuff, some pace.
The goal had been coming for Chelsea, with City struggling to break through.

Chelsea have the edge after a tight first 45 minutes, but who do YOU think will take the spoils?
PEEEEEEEEEP!
The end of a breathless first 45 minutes.

45+1' Kante clips a ball into Werner inside the box with his back to goal.
He's at the angle and tries a volley but miskicks it well wide for a goal kick.

THREE MINUTES ADDED ON
CHELSEA 1-0 MAN CITY
42' They have had the best opportunities and finally take the lead.
It's worked well from Mendy to Chilwell who finds Mount.
Werner's run is superb to take the defender away and Mount splits open the defence with a pass.
Zinchenko shows his weakness defensively as Havertz is clean through, rounds the onrushing Ederson to roll home into an empty net.
Zinchenko just stopped as Havertz picked it up!
What a time to take the lead.
GOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLLL!!!!
KAI HAVERTZ HAS CHELSEA IN THE LEAD BEFORE HALF-TIME!!
CHELSEA 0-0 MAN CITY
39' Chilwell again is in good space down the left and clips a pass into the box for Werner.
His lay-off for Havertz is poor though and Dias intercepts to clear.
CHELSEA 0-0 MAN CITY
38' Thiago Silva came back on but is back down again.
He won't be able to continue and trudges off distraught.
A real shame for him as Chelsea make the change:
- OFF - Thiago Silva
- ON - Andreas Christensen
CHELSEA 0-0 MAN CITY
37' Chelsea break and it's 4v4 as Kante comes forward.
He slides it in to Havertz on the right who works inside before Zinchenko times his tackle perfectly to win the ball back.
City come forward and get Mahrez on it down the right but his cross is straight at Mendy.
DEFENSIVE MASTERCLASS
Here is the Rudiger defending from a short time ago.
It gets better every time you watch it.
CHELSEA 0-0 MAN CITY
34' Thiago Silva is down holding his groin which is a concern.
Gundogan is shown a YELLOW CARD for that tackle on Mount.
Pep Guardiola calls his City side over to remind them of one or two things as Silva gets treatment.
CHELSEA 0-0 MAN CITY
32' VAR check for a possible red card on Mount as he is wiped out but Chelsea continue with the advantage.
The move slows up as they reach the edge of the City area before Silva tries to spray one out to Chilwell on the left.
Walker intercepts and gets it back to Ederson.
CHELSEA 0-0 MAN CITY
29' Woooosh, Walker collects a pass and shows an obscene level of pace to get beyond Chilwell.
He does extremely well to get the ball across and Mahrez is all alone, six yards out but can't slide and make contact with the ball in!
HAVE YOUR SAY
City have had more possession, but Chelsea have had arguably the better chances. Who do YOU think has been on top so far?
WERNER CHANCE
Here is the moment Timo Werner should have had Chelsea in front early on.
CHELSEA 0-0 MAN CITY
27' Oh wow! City get in behind this time and de Bruyne finds Foden on the edge of the box.
It's a fabulous first touch from Foden and he seems set to roll it home from 10 yards but it's an utterly magnificent slide tackle from Rudiger to block it and it spins to Mendy.
Unreal defending.
CHELSEA 0-0 MAN CITY
26' James flicks it in and it's a Light Blues shirt who wins the header to get it clear.
CHELSEA 0-0 MAN CITY
25' Kante nips in and wins the ball ahead of Dias and is fouled on the follow-through.
Free kick Chelsea, 25 yards from goal wide on the right.
CHELSEA 0-0 MAN CITY
24' James is tight again on Sterling as the City winger has his back to goal.
The winger appears to go down quite easily and the ball hits his arm.
The whistle goes and it's against Sterling.
