TEAM GB are ready and raring to go as the Olympics finally gets properly underway with the opening ceremony this afternoon.
Athletes from all over the world have descended upon Tokyo to take part in the Games, which were delayed by a year because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Why are there only 30 Team GB athletes at the Olympic Games Opening Ceremony?
Tokyo 2020 has been plagued with problems relating the Covid-19 pandemic since last summer.
The event, like countless others across the world, was cancelled last year and moved to 2021, but there are still logistical problems athletes are having to overcome.
Cases are on the up in Japan and just last week, Tokyo went into a state of emergency over the increasing virus rate.
Athletes are having to take tests very frequently, masks are to be worn everywhere, including in some outdoor spaces, and there's a lot of isolation time to contend with.

Team GB have over 200 athletes in the Olympic village, but it's thought the decision has been made by most not to attend the opening ceremony over Covid fears.
Athletes are said to be reluctant to leave the village, with numbers from each country dwindling ahead of the ceremony.
So an approximate group of 30 athletes will lead the parade for Team GB instead.
It's also been reported that fewer than 1,000 VIPs will be in attendance at the Olympic Stadium.
Team GB will have two flag-bearers this afternoon at the opening ceremony.
Hannah Mills, a Rio 2016 gold-medalist in sailing, and Mohamaed Sbihi, also a gold-medalist who competes as a rower, will be flying the GB flag.
