Cristiano Ronaldo ‘offered £230,000-a-week by Man City, Harry Kane wants £400k-a-week, Kounde Chelsea transfer update

HARRY KANE has taken to Twitter to confirm he will be STAYING at Tottenham.
But it has emerged that the England captain was fined two weeks wages for returning late from his summer holiday, even though he thought the club had given him the all-clear to extend the trip.
Man City were willing to offer Spurs their pick of five players - Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling, Riyad Mahrez, Aymeric Laporte or Gabriel Jesus in exchange for Kane - but will now turn their attention elsewhere.
And their top target could be Cristiano Ronaldo, who they have reportedly offered a two-year deal worth £230,000-a-week.
However, City do not want to pay a transfer fee or offer Juventus Gabriel Jesus in exchange, in what could be a potential stumbling block to the move.

WILL POWER
EXCLUSIVE - Crystal Palace are poised to agree a £10million deal for Will Hughes with Watford — and do Leeds a favour in the chase for Lewis O’Brien.
The Eagles have now tabled a bid of £7m plus extras for midfield dynamo Hughes, 26, who has refused to sign a new contract with the Hornets.
Palace should also be able to sort out personal terms at around £60,000-a-week to seal the deal, after opting for Hughes ahead of O’Brien, 22.
Huddersfield may now take less for O’Brien and open the door for Leeds to end the saga with an offer of £5m, with extras taking it to about £8m.
Palace’s forgotten centre-half Jaroslaw Jach, 27, is a loan target for both Ipswich and Wigan.
Meanwhile, the Terriers are making checks on Aberdeen midfielder Lewis Ferguson, 21, as they look for fresh legs.
MAXED OUT
EXCLUSIVE - Burnley boss Sean Dyche is ready to clinch a record £15million deal for Lyon’s speedster Maxwel Cornet — after being backed by his new money men from the USA.
The Clarets have now reached the asking price wanted by the French club and are sorting out terms with the Ivory Coast international, who can play on the wing or at left-back.
Cornet, 24, will be given a pay-off by Lyon as he did not ask for a transfer — and that will help Burnley squeeze his wages into their budget.
The Turf Moor outfit are talking about a four-year contract, with Cornet paid £45,000-a-week and rising over his stay.
The swoop moved closer after meetings in France over the last 48 hours — and despite Cornet being keen on a move to Hertha Berlin.
Lyon prefer to deal with the Clarets, as their offer is much bigger, and the lengthy pursuit is now almost over.
VARD LUCK
EXCLUSIVE - Jamie Vardy bagged £30,000 at the casino — after winning the Community Shield at Wembley.
His lucky streak continued as he gambled with team-mates, in a party organised by the club’s chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha.
The Thai businessman is said to have hired the Park Lane Casino in London’s Mayfair, and was handing out gambling chips worth £1,000.
A source said: “Aiyawatt hired out the casino exclusively and the team travelled there immediately after winning the Community Shield.
“When they won the FA Cup back in May Covid restrictions were still in place, so this was a double celebration and they had a great night.
“The entire team was on a high, and everyone were in great spirits, enjoying having a few drinks and trying their luck on the casino tables.
“Aiyawatt, who is known as Top by the team, was handing out £1,000 chips and Jamie walked away with £30,000 after a run of luck. So that was a nice bonus for him.”
