GOODBYE
That's all from us at the end of an exhilarating opening weekend to this new Premier League season.
The fans are back and there are new faces to enjoy, but some things remain the same: Son-Heung Min scores against Manchester City as Tottenham beat the champions at home.
Son's heroics momentarily took the attention away from Harry Kane's non-appearance, yet it appears apparent that Spurs and City will continue today's battle off the pitch until the end of August.
Whatever happens, whatever the headlines, we'll have all the news for you as it happens. You won't miss a kick.
NUNO'S REACTION
A delighted Nuno Espirito Santo has expressed his pride at the performance from his new team this afternoon, noting how they reacted from Manchester City's early dominance to cause the champions real problems.
The hard work of the boys would make any manager proud. We were lucky [early on] because they had clear chances, but the boys held on. After the first 15 minutes, we controlled better, we adjusted better and we started creating our chances.
Nuno Espirito SantoFAN FUELLED ATTACKING ACTION
It's been a tremendous opening weekend to the 2021-22 campaign which has given us goals galore and packed-out stadiums.
The return of supporters has most certainly had an effect on some high-scoring contests.
SPURS PROVING PEP'S REAL TEST
Never mind Europe's finest, it's the Galacticos of Tottenham Hotspur that has Pep Guardiola wishing he still had some hair to pull out.
CITY LACK STRIKING OPTIONS
A penny for Pep's thoughts - or should that be £150m.
THE TABLE
Manchester City host Norwich next weekend in what must be labelled a relegation six-pointer. Meanwhile, Nuno Espirito Santo takes his title-challenging Tottenham to former club Wolves.
In all seriousness, any league table produced before September should be a criminal offence.
NICE ONE, SON!
Matchwinner Son Heung-Min has been speaking at full time about this afternoon's exploits, and how he and the team were desperate to perform for the supporters on their return to the stadium.
"We wanted to start well with the fans here – finally!
Everyone worked so hard to get the three points. It is all about the fans, we play for them. I am really grateful that they come here to support us.
Son Heung-Min"We did amazingly well. I will try to do my best game-by-game, and I'm looking forward to this season. I want to help the team as much as I possibly can."
FEEL THE NOISE
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has played host to a fascinating game of football amid a quite wonderful atmosphere.
It's great that football is back. It's incredible that fans are back.
NEMESIS NUNO
Have Tottenham found a manager that knows how to get the better of Pep Guardiola?
