  • THAT'S ALL FROM ANDORRA

England dominated Andorra with a 5-0 triumph at the Estadi Nacional and moved even closer to punching their ticket to the 2022 World Cup.

The Three Lions opened the scoring after just 17 minutes when a long ball by Phil Foden found Jadon Sancho in the penalty area where he switched it back to Ben Chilwell and the Chelsea star beat Josep Gomes with a cool finish.

Referee Kateryna Monzul initially overruled Chilwell’s goal for offside but a VAR check reversed her decision and thus the left-back got his first ever international goal.

But Gareth Southgate’s men weren’t done there as they doubled their lead five minutes before half-time.

Foden delivered another scintillating ball to the box where he found Bukayo Saka down the right side and the Arsenal star beat Gomes with a powerful shot down his tight angle.

England made it three on 59 minutes when a clever cross from Sancho saw Tammy Abraham taking advantage of some slow defending and goalkeeping as he ran away from Ildefons Lima and beat Gomes to the ball with a clever flick.

The Three Lions scored their fourth goal 20 minutes later even though the Andorra keeper blocked James Ward-Prowse’s penalty shot as the Southampton star hit the back of the net on the rebound.

And Jack Grealish scored his first ever England goal after 86 minutes when he picked up a quarter-back-like pass from Sam Johnstone, danced around two defenders and made it five for his national team.

  • ABRAHAM REACTS

England star Tammy Abraham revealed he originally wanted to take the penalty before James Ward-Prowse's goal.

Abraham told ITV: "It's a good night for me and the boys. We knew it was going to be tough and had to stay focused. Luckily we got an early goal.

"Some things we have done tonight, there's a lot to be positive about going forward.

"As a striker you always want to take penalties but the gaffer told James [Ward-Prowse] he was on penalties. Hopefully my performance shows I am clearly doing the right things.

"Hopefully I can keep going and keep pushing. For me, I was disappointed to miss out [on Euro 2020] but I am playing every week. It's a tough squad to get into"

  • SOUTHGATE REACTS

England manager Gareth Southgate is pleased that the goals came from Ben Chilwell, Jack Grealish, Bukayo Saka, James Ward-Prowse and Tammy Abraham as they all had a goalscoring duck to overcome.

Sotughate told ITV: "It was a specific sort of challenge: a low, packed defence to break down. We picked a team with players in it who could take that challenge on. You saw that with the link play from midfield especially and I thought the application throughout was excellent.

"We know those diagonal runs from wide - Ben Chilwell made them throughout the game - and with Phil Foden he can hit them as can [James] Ward-Prowse. So it was, could we get between the lines, could we get wide in one-against-one situations? But those diagonal runs in behind were a real threat.

"There were some nice moments there: for Chilwell to get a goal, having had such a tough time in the summer with us, I'm really pleased for him, and Jack's [Grealish] first goal as well. Tammy [Abraham], Prowsey, Bukayo [Saka]… they all haven't scored that often for England so a special moment for all of them"

  • HOW DO ENGLAND GO THROUGH?

England take on Hungary on Tuesday at Wembley Stadium but they can't hope to advance to the 2022 World Cup that night.

That is because both Albania and Poland won against the Hungarians and San Marino respectively.

That means the Three Lions need another five points to punch their ticket to Qatar.

Therefore, another two wins will do the trick for Gareth Southgate's men
