Man Utd joined by Norwich and Leicester for transfer of Aberdeen wonderkid Calvin Ramsay in January window
NORWICH are big admirers of Aberdeen wonderkid Calvin Ramsay.
The right-back has been interesting a number of Premier League clubs since bursting on to the scene this season.
Leicester, Everton and even Manchester United are among the sides monitoring the 18-year-old’s progress.
Norwich are particularly keen and Aberdeen are braced for bids when the transfer window reopens in January.
Ramsay has shot to prominence in the Dons first team this season and impressed with his rampaging displays down the right.
The full-back, who can also play in midfield, looks to be from the Andy Robertson mould after providing an impressive seven assists in his 15 appearances so far this term.
Boss Stephen Glass said last month: “Would I expect offers in January? I wouldn’t be surprised, let’s be honest about that.
“He’s in a similar position to a lot of young players in Scotland in that they’re attractive to clubs down south.”

The Dons are sitting in ninth place, with just eight points from eight games, and will be reluctant to see the youngster go.
United were said to be after a right-back in the summer and were reportedly close to sealing a deal for England star Kieran Trippier.
An initial £18million bid for the defender was rejected by Atletico Madrid as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer eyed competition for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
They could go back in for the full back, 31, in January, but may have to meet Atleti’s £34m release clause.
United were willing to let Diogo Dalot leave the club to join Borussia Dortmund but pulled the plug on his switch when they knew Trippier would not be joining them.
Solskjaer has already allowed youngster Brandon Williams to join Premier League new boys Norwich on loan to gain top-flight experience.
