ANDREW 'BEEF' JOHNSTON has challenged golf beauty Paige Spiranac to a chip off - with the winner taking home a burger.

The unlikely pair want to face off after Paige revealed that the man affectionately known as 'Beef' is her favourite golfer.

The 23-year-old, who has more than 760,000 followers on her Instagram, said that the bearded golfer, who came eighth in The Open earlier this year was a "cool guy".

She told a fan on her Twitter page: "My new favourite is [

"He seems like such a cool guy and great with his fans!"

Beef replied: "Wen [sic] we having a chipping comp?"

Paige said: "Winner gets Arby's?"

To which Beef said: "Done. It's oooon."

The charismatic Londoner has shot to fame in the last year after his performance at Royal Troon, with an adoring crowd shouting 'BEEF!' after every shot.

The golfer has now signed a sponsorship deal with burger chain Arby's.
