SOUTHAMPTON are expected to finalise the transfer of Sofiane Boufal from Ligue 1 club Lille tomorrow.
In the anticipation of the event, SunSport built up Boufal's football profile ahead of the £21millionn move to the Premier League - a club record for Southampton.
Boufal is a 22-year-old who plays as winger, on the left, or as a central attacking midfielder to support the front line of a team.
He has a distinct talent to move the midfield play, assist and score goals, which is exactly what Southampton need to compensate the £30m departure of Sadio Mane to Liverpool.
The Moroccan international scored a total of 12 goals in 34 appearances last term in what was his first full season in a top-flight league.
He is also a young talent who can be compared to Manchester United's play-maker Paul Pogba.

Boufal’s ability and skills are brilliant to watch and there is no doubt he will succeed in the Premier League, if new boss Claude Puel makes the right decisions in his tactic.
SunSport reported last week that the Moroccan could join the Premier League in January but Southampton are the early bird in the transfer.
Puel insisted to sign Boufal this summer, although he is still recovering from a knee injury since May.
He is expected to make his debut next month once his fitness has regained.
