New pitches ordered by previous boss Louis van Gaal are currently being installed at the Carrington complex.

But Mourinho is said to have grown angry as workmen reportedly used training cones and flagpoles to mark their site. A source said: “The installation is causing friction for Jose because of the amount of people and mess. He marched on to the building site and ordered them to stop ‘taking my stuff’.”
