Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte LIVE RESULTS: Fury reiterates RETIREMENT, potential NINE-FIGURE showdown with AJ or Usyk

TYSON FURY knocked out Dillian Whyte with a spectacular uppercut in the sixth round to retain his WBC title at Wembley.

The fight had begun in tentative fashion - before the Gypsy King upped the pace in the half-way mark and then brutally finished the job with distinction.

And despite Fury's retirement plans, the 6"9 machine could be tempted into a nine-figure showdown with the winner of Anthony Joshua or Oleksandr Uysk.

"He has nothing to prove so unless he really wants to box on and if he's just doing it for money or fame, he doesn't need that.

"He's the most famous man on the planet tonight, he does not need to be any more famous.

"We're very blessed and lucky not to need any more money. The man has done anything he ever could do.

"He's a big awkward guy - I was expecting that.

"It was always going to be an awkward fight, but I was trying to set up and be patient and land what I could early and from round three onwards start to press.
