Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte LIVE RESULTS: Fury reiterates RETIREMENT, potential NINE-FIGURE showdown with AJ or Usyk
TYSON FURY knocked out Dillian Whyte with a spectacular uppercut in the sixth round to retain his WBC title at Wembley.
The fight had begun in tentative fashion - before the Gypsy King upped the pace in the half-way mark and then brutally finished the job with distinction.
And despite Fury's retirement plans, the 6"9 machine could be tempted into a nine-figure showdown with the winner of Anthony Joshua or Oleksandr Uysk.

"We had a war. It was a great trilogy. And I meant that.
"But I got offered to fight at Wembley at home, and I believe that I deserved—that I owed it to the fans, I owed it to every person in the United Kingdom to come here and fight at Wembley.
"Now it’s all done. And I have to be a man of my word. And I think this is it.
"This might be the final curtain for the Gypsy King. And what a way to go out! A big thank you to the United Kingdom!"

Tyson Fury knocks out Dillian Whyte
Fury predicts Whyte will be world champion one day, but came up against one of the greats tonight.
Strange fight from the off, as Whyte couldn't get going and Fury kind of boxed and moved his way through the rounds.
But nothing routine about the winning uppercut.

Double jab set up Whyte, who walked into the right uppercut.
Fury actually threw Whyte to the floor, but the punch had landed with a crisp connection.
Whyte got up to beat the count but stumbled forward and that was enough for the ref to wave it off.
