BRAZILIAN football legend Ronaldinho has released a song for the athletes of this year’s Paralympics in Rio.

The footballer joined forces with musicians Jhama and Pablo Luiz to churn out the tune called ‘Eu sou do mundo, um vencedor’ (I come from the world, a winner).

Ronaldinho has released a song in tribute to all those competing at the Paralympic Games in Rio

Ronaldinho said he was a big fan of the Paralympics and decided to make the single because he was inspired by the determination, courage and perseverance of the athletes.

The former Milan and Barcelona player said: “We composed this song thinking of them (the athletes) and to give them strength and motivation. They are more than winners, they are super-athletes. I will be in the audience watching them.”

The president of the Brazilian Paralympics Committee, Andrew Parsons, said: “When Ronaldinho spoke to us and presented the song, we saw that it represented the winning spirit of the athlete. We hope that the fans also enjoy the hymn.”
