A NORWICH fan aged 14 caught flicking the V-sign at Cristiano Ronaldo was worried he would get a ticking off from Delia Smith.
Loui Carter was less than impressed by the Manchester United ace’s goal celebrations over his match-winning penalty at Carrow Road on Saturday.
His double two-fingered salute was in sharp contrast to other Norwich fans who used their phones to capture the Portugal ace’s reaction.
He said: “I was disappointed and annoyed so that’s the first thing I thought to do when he ran past me.
"Everyone else was too busy in awe of him and taking their pictures, but I thought, ‘No, he’s just scored against my team’.
But when the player later posted a similar image to his 376 million Instagram followers, Loui began to fret how it might go down with TV cook Delia, Norwich’s co-owner.
Loui’s dad Carl, 41, a life-long Norwich supporter, said: “Loui said to me, ‘Do you think Delia will be cross with me, dad?’.
"He will be OK as Delia knows all about being passionate about the club.”

The dad of three, a haulage contractor from King’s Lynn, Norfolk, was watching the game from the club lounge.
He added: “It was a bit naughty of Loui but it’s a funny picture and a memory to keep.”
