But after some skipping and shadow boxing, Paul got out of the ring to go for some laps in the swimming pool.

Explaining his decision, Paul said: "I took advantage of the pool being right there.

"We swam a lot during this camp so I decided to hit it in the open workout, why not?"

Quizzed on wearing shoes while swimming, he responded: "Yeah, it makes you a little bit heavier. So it makes it a little bit harder to swim."

In Paul's first three fights, he beat YouTuber 'AnEsonGib', ex-NBA star Nate Robinson, 37, and retired UFC welterweight Ben Askren, also 37.

But his biggest win to date came in August, over eight rounds against ex-UFC champion Woodley, 39.

Paul, 24, was then set to fight Tommy Fury, 22, until the British former reality TV star pulled out with a broken rib and chest infection.

Woodley has since signed as Fury's replacement opponent, with the pair rematching over the weekend.

Fury is set to be sidelined until March and has called for the celebrity grudge match to be rescheduled - but Paul has other ideas.

He said: "I don't think a fight between us will ever happen. I don't wanna give him the opportunity.

"He had his shot. I'd like to see him have to fight 20 more times to even get the same payday that he was gonna get against me.
