Mbappe is out-of-contract at PSG in the summer, while Haaland is believed to be available for just £64million thanks to a reduced release clause.

And Ancelotti reckons the pair would love to play at the Bernabeu after its £500m revamp.

When asked whether players like Mbappe or Haaland would want to play at the new Bernabeu, Ancelotti told : "Of course they do, but the future of this team has already been written.

"I don't know what the players will do... and hopefully the coach is the same as he is today.

"But it is the same, because the future of Real Madrid is already written with the current team and with other young people who will arrive.

"There is no doubt that Real Madrid will compete at the top for a long time."

Mbappe looks set to move to Spain when his PSG contract expires at the conclusion of the current campaign.

He is free to sign a pre-contract agreement in January and has long been a target at the Bernabeu.

Real have reportedly already landed their man, but will keep the news under wraps until after they face PSG in the Champions League next February.

Meanwhile Borussia Dortmund CEO Watzke has revealed that Real Madrid are in the hunt for Haaland.

He told BILD TV: “No matter where I go, everyone speaks to you about Erling Haaland.

"All I know is a guarantee that Real Madrid are very interested in him. I could name 25 others now."

Should Ancelotti pull off the remarkable double coup, Real Madrid could line-up with a front three of Mbappe, Haaland and Karim Benzema next season.

Benzema has just 18-months left on his current deal, but the club are keen to tie the 33-year-old down to a new contract.
