REAL MADRID have ended their pursuit of Manchester United star Paul Pogba and turned their attention on Ajax ace Ryan Gravenberch, reports suggest.

Pogba's United contract expires in June and talks between the club and player haven't progressed, which means he will likely be departing from Old Trafford this summer.

The star midfielder has attracted interest from various suitors, such as Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, former club Juventus and of course Real ahead of the January transfer window.

According to CalcioMercato's Rudy Galetti, however, Los Blancos have switched their focus.

The Madrid giants are now keeping tabs on Gravenberch, who has been standing out at Ajax this season.

The midfielder has amassed 25 appearances across all competitions so far this term for the Eredivisie champions.

Real consider the Netherlands international as the "right profile" to boost Carlo Ancelotti's midfield next season.

The LaLiga outfit appear to be done with Pogba but they will still have to deal with super agent Mino Raiola as he also represents Gravenberch.

Galetti : "The target has changed, but not the agent (#Raiola): #RealMadrid left the race for #Pogba to aim for #Gravenberch.

"#Blancos consider the #Ajax player the right profile to rejuvenate the squad midfield in the next season."

Gravenberch joined Ajax's academy from Zeeburgia in 2010 and earned a senior call-up eight years later.

The 19-year-old sensation has since amassed a total of 10 goals and 10 assists in 86 appearances across all competitions.
