MARK WILLIAMS played an outrageous one-handed escape from a snooker at the Masters… and even potted the pink!
It happened as the three-time snooker world champion came from 3-1 down to knock defending champion Yan Bingtao out on Sunday.
On the pink, with only that and the black remaining on the table, the world number eight Williams hit a one-handed shot to escape from a snooker and even made the pot.
He rested his cue on the table to play the left handed-shot, and as it became apparent the pink was going in he waved his finger to draw a huge roar from the crowd at Alexandra Palace.
Eurosport commentator Dave Hendon said: “You’re kidding me.
“Wow, what a finish to the frame that is. Incredible. It’s great snooker. Mark Williams does things his own way.”
The Welsh Potting Machine, 46, revealed afterwards the success of the shot was less of a surprise to him than others.
He said: “I just carried on doing what I was doing really, the under-arm shots I play all the time in practice and hardly ever miss.

“I should really be playing them a lot more in matches, but perhaps I will start.”
Williams won 6-4 and will face John Higgins in the quarter-finals.
