WOLVES have signed winger Chiquinho as a potential replacement for Adama Traore.
The Portuguese 21-year-old passed his medical ahead of completing £3m plus add-ons move from Primeira Liga side Estoril.
Chiquinho’s arrival will act as cover should Wolves lose Traore during this winter window.
The Spanish international winger has been linked with a move away.
Tottenham have already sounded their interest in the rapid wide man at Molineux and could make a bid in the coming weeks.
Chiquinho’s arrival is seen as a long-term option – but there is hope he can add goals straight away to a toothless Wolves attack who have just 17 goals in 20 league games.
He has scored three goals and provided three assists, despite only starting nine games in his breakthrough senior campaign.
He told Wolves' official website: “I’m very excited, but I feel a lot of pressure because it’s a big team, it’s a big club, but it is more important that I come here and do my best.
“It’s a big stadium and I feel a lot of fears because it’s a big team, but I will do my best for the club and enjoy playing here.
“I want to achieve all I can because it’s a big opportunity for me. What I can do, I will do, so if I can score 10 or 20 goals, and if I can get six, 10 or 20 assists, then I will do.”

Chiquinho came through the youth ranks at Sporting before joining Estoril in 2019 – and he is currently a Portugal U21 international.
The agent of the young star is Jorge Mendes, who deals with several Wolves players such as Ruben Neves, currently linked with a move away to Manchester United.
Mendes is also the agent of Wolves’ current boss Bruno Lage.
Wolves signed Hayao Kawabe from Grasshoppers earlier this month, who is expected to return to the Swiss club on loan.
