MANCHESTER UNITED superstar Cristiano Ronaldo recalled the "click moment" he fell in love with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.

Ronaldo and Rodriguez, 27, met for the first time at a Gucci store, where she was a sales assistant during a time when she was living in a cramped, shared house and made £250 per week.

But her life changed forever when she met the five-time Ballon d'Or winner in Madrid and started dating him towards the end of 2016.

The star forward claims he fell in love with the model instantly and that is how they formed a family together.

Ronaldo said in Rodriguez's upcoming Netflix series: "From that moment [when they passed each other outside the clothing company where she worked] it stuck in my head and it was a 'click' moment."

The Portugal captain and his girlfriend are the parents to four children - Cristiano Jr., 11, Alana Martina, 4, as well as twins Eva and Mateo, 4. Georgina is only mother to Alana, with the others born via a surrogate.

They recently revealed that their family is set to grow even more as they are expecting another pair of twins.

However, there won't be much football talk at home it seems as she confessed to being clueless about the beautiful game because she was never interested in the sport as a child.

Rodriguez said: "The day I met Cristiano I go to work. I arrive at Gucci and, when I'm leaving the store, I see a very handsome man appear.

"I stopped and started to feel like tickles in the stomach and I said, 'But hey, what's wrong with me?'"

Ronaldo and Rodriguez are living together in a swanky house in England following the United legend's return to Old Trafford last summer.

The 36-year-old has already registered a total of 14 goals and three assists in 23 appearances for the Red Devils this season.
