Manchester derby: Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola embrace before the big derby

Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola hug it out before the Manchester derby as they appear to bury their long running feud

JOSE MOURINHO embraced his rival Pep Guardiola before the Manchester derby as the pair seem to lay to rest their differences that have lasted for years.

This is one of the biggest games of the season already and the pair would be forgiven not being to keen on giving their relationship much attention.

But the pair hugged before today’s crucial game and Mourinho had said that he would be open to having a drink with City manager Guardiola.

The pairs fierce rivalry exploded in Spain when Mourinho was manager at Real Madrid whilst Guardiola’s Barcelona were ruling Spain and Europe.

Mourinho was tasked with knocking the Catalans of their perch which caused a huge rift between the pair and a rivalry that has not been seen between two managers in La Liga before.
