Arsenal fans beg Kroenke to invest more money for transfers and hope trophy jinx ends after LA Rams’ Super Bowl triumph
ARSENAL fans are begging owner Stan Kroenke to make more transfer funds available after seeing his LA Rams side win the Super Bowl.
Kroenke was on the pitch at the final whistle to celebrate a stunning 23-20 comeback win against the Cincinnati Bengals.
He said: "Amazing, and just really proud of this group. So happy for them, and then you talk about these players.
"They’re unbelievable, and this just hung in there. It was a tough game and I’m just so proud of them executing like they did."
But his joy was not met with too much support from Gunners fans who want him to show similar affection for their Premier League club.
Jordan Hickson wrote on Twitter: "Now @RamsNFL have won the #SuperBowl can kroenke now majorly invest in Arsenal so we can win the prem again."
This train of thought was echoed by Larry Kwirirayi, who posted: "Now that Kroenke has won the #SuperBowl, can he use the same formula to build an @arsenal team to win the league and champions league?"
And another Gooner wrote: "Great now Stan Kroenke and can invest his money into the Arsenal for gods sakes."

Darius Lovehall hopes that Kroenke 'has something up his sleeve' when it comes to Arsenal, and Cameron Ahmad wants the American to 'give funds in the summer to win the Champions League'.
But Steve Nicoll isn't expecting the LA Rams win to benefit the Londoners whatsoever, writing that Kroenke 'doesn't give a s*** about Arsenal'.
He added: "He runs Arsenal like a corner shop - as long as it’s making enough money to tick over then no change needed as far as he’s concerned.
"Nothing will change until we have a new owner."
Arsenal fans saw their side lift the FA Cup in 2020 but they haven’t claimed a Premier League trophy since 2003/4.
Matthew Stafford led a dramatic late game-winning drive to seal Super Bowl glory for the LA Rams on home soil on Sunday night.
The quarterback took his side down the field before finding Cooper Kupp for a decisive touchdown in a 23-20 win at SoFi Stadium.
Stafford finished with three touchdowns as he delivered success for owner Stan Kroenke in his £4billion palace.
The Rams are valued at £3.6bn and No4 on Forbes' list of the NFL's most valuable teams.
They were paid £163m in national media rights this season, and their annual player salary is around £142m.
