AFTER a woeful start to the Premier League season, it was clear Liverpool defender Albert Moreno needed to make some changes.

So he has just done that - and cut off his man bun.

The Spanish left-back shared photos on social media of him holding the strands of hair, still in their tie, captioned "bye."

Moreno also appears to have given his hair a fresh does of bleach.

In another photo he poses with his stunning girlfriend Lilia Grandilla, as the pair blew kisses for the camera.

And then Moreno decided to pull a faces as he took another selfie.

The left-back was roundly criticised after his performance in Liverpool's opening-day 4-3 win away at Arsenal.

Despite being on the winning side, he gave away a penalty, which his keeper Simon Mignolet bailed him out by saving.

He then allowed Theo Walcott acres of space to drill home Arsenal's opener.

The 24-year-old Spaniard was unsurprisingly dropped for the Reds' next game against Burnley, a 2-0 defeat, with James Milner preferred in the left back spot.

Liverpool fans will be hoping Moreno's chop will have a similar effect, albeit the other way around, to that of biblical character Samson.
