‘You can’t disallow that!’ – Watch Mbappe embarrass Courtois with STUNNING stepover with viewers gutted it won’t count
FOOTBALL fans have been left devastated after Kylian Mbappe had an astonishing goal disallowed for Paris Saint-Germain against Real Madrid in the Champions League.
Mbappe, widely tipped to be joining Madrid this summer, left Thibaut Courtois red-faced after a stunning stepover.
The move came after the 23-year-old had already had an earlier effort ruled out for offside in the first half, before opening the scoring moments later.
Then with PSG leading Real Madrid 1-0 in their own backyard, Neymar slid the ball into the path of Mbappe.
Mbappe shaped to shoot first time as the ball came towards him, with Courtois fully committed to going to ground in an attempt to make the save.
But Mbappe was one step ahead of the Belgian stopper, and delightfully dropped his shoulder to step over the ball and leave Courtois on his backside.
Then with his left foot he stroked the ball into an empty net.
It was a goal of sheer quality, but ruined by the fact the assistant referee had their flag raised for offside on Mbappe.

Mbappe was indeed well offside, as the world of football reacted with dismay at the goal being ruled out.
One gutted fan wrote on social media: "The best offside goal in football history, this goal should exist."
While a second joked: "Courtois career will never ever recover!! This is sooo disgusting!"
Others compared the move to one reminiscent of legendary Brazilian striker Ronaldo, as one gushed: "R9 levels."
Mbappe though will be ruing the fact he strayed offside.
A 17-minute second-half Karim Benzema hat-trick saw Real Madrid overhaul PSG's 2-0 aggregate lead with just over ten minutes left to play, helping Carlo Ancelotti's side complete a remarkable turnaround.
The 13-time Champions League winners join Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Manchester City in the quarter-finals, with Lionel Messi and Co sent packing.
