Guests are dressed to the nines in towering heels and some VERY flamboyant hats - with many protecting their ensembles with umbrellas.

The Cheltenham Festival is expected to attract 250,000 revellers this week, as racegoers are welcomed back for the first time since 2020.

Posing in their finery, women have been spotted enjoying champagne as they soak up the atmosphere.

Although the dress code differs depending on the stand, attendees from all ticket bands are making a statement with their wardrobe choices.

Sadly Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, has had to pull out of her visit today, after recently recovering from Covid.
